St Peters Newnham

As part of the recasting and rehanging of the bells at St Peter’s Church Ruth Nichols was commissioned to design a new bell ringing chamber with a spiral stair access from the west end of the nave.

The glazed gallery and tower screen maintain the view through to the tower’s west window and maximise the daylight at the west end. The bell ringers are now able to more easily share and showcase their skills and hopefully attract new recruits.
